this is, as you can see, part two in a series of mini toys from Siu. the first one was not produced by KR but was a capsule toy in Japan - http://rotocasted.com/toy/708... />I think Sony made them. the first series had stronger designs.
the designs are mini versions of Siu's larger speaker figure designs, of which I think this is the most famous - http://rotocasted.com/toy/911... -

i like the designs, i just think the build quality is poor

Hmmm... looks a lot like the Sun Tower by Taro Okamoto. It was built for the 1970 world exposition in Osaka.

nice one, i'm very tempted!!

If the series looked more organic like this example and there wasn't the annoying "appliance" conceit, these would be pretty cool.

I used to help out folks while I was still living in Japan but I've moved back to Canada so I can't help you out. However, I do know that the folks over at Tokyo Hunter dot com can help get Japan exclusive toys. There is a finder fee though. Dunno if that helps any but it is a way to get it.

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is an apelike cryptid said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet.
Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an alleged ape-like creature purportedly inhabiting forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. -
13 years ago
Bigfoot is American. Sasquatch is Canadian. I'm serious. :)

Sure, except maybe for the usual standing issue. Salvatore falls over easily, but his feet are adjustable, arms as well, so you just need to find a good balance!
THEY ARE CUTE, Mister, really cute. :) -
-

picked up from the post office today, i think from the smell of them that they are pvc, really cute but yes, not standing so well, his feet are a little soft and bent out of place for a nice even stand. still, overall im pleased

Does he have a tail like the others?
-
-
Yes he does, maybe we should use a better picture which is up-to-date.
-
Yeah the tail is one of the most important parts.... it's really awesome.

Great a new one ! Does someone know if there were other versions released besides the 12",24", 36" and the 36" SSUR version?
I believe a recently noticed a camo (light brown) version in a book.

I a bigger Marvel fan, but I still like the DC guys. So it would be nice to have a whole Justice League of Be@rbricks :)
too bad the Superman one from 21 was a chase! -
-
I really like this Green Lantern Be@rbrick, probably more so than the Batman & Superman figures from last Series. I think the costume fits the platform better for some reason (maybe because he doesn't need a cape). Would love a 400% of this design.

the cape thing does fit into it. I also think the fact that the superman just had dots for eyes and no real face was kind of weird. the mask gives this one personality.
