did you buy it on ebay from the seller 'littleduckduck' ? I was interested in this one too (and others), but if you check his feedback, it looks like he is selling factory rejects... + he sold quite some rare bearbricks over and over again.

Middleclass, I don't know about that seller but the BWWT bearbricks were sold in sets and some seller have multiple sets and sell individual bearbricks.

Oh so original! /sarcasm

Why all the Jled hate lately? Not original? Uhh, how many 10" stackable wood pieces do you own??? I mean, un-original would be making a mold, then selling it in 14 different colors/patterns like, like uhhh, Erik Scarecrow, or Andrew Bell. At least when Joe makes something, he does maybe a handful of color ways, all fairly classic and expected, and moves on. His style is what comes through like a GOOD artist, not a copy machine! With mutant bunny, we see him paying tribute to his own classic first piece, coming up with all sorts of unique ways to present it. I have much respect for Joe's art and admire him for keeping his art current and fresh, and not just churning the molds! Go hate elsewhere!

I love this piece. His best work in a long time.

A mere opinion, we're all entitled to them!

well opinion or not, At least 20 artists comes to my mind when I think at "boring toys with the same goddamn design again and again"
Jled is not on the list: there's a whole canyon wide difference between having a well established and recognizable style and having one idea and making endless copy of it over the years, and these are facts not opinion, period. -

One artist comes to mind when I think "boring toys with the same design again and again," and that's Joe Ledbetter. And that's an opinion, not a fact, comma.

I don't think this toy is boring, as such. I do find Ledbetter's style quite boring at this point

So just to note, my Burger Bunny arrived this weekend. The size and idea are pretty cool. However, the production leaves much to be desired. It's wood, and in several places the grain and wood dents show through where the paint is too thin. Mine has a fair amount of what look like dirty scuff marks too, where it was handled during production maybe. I think it's just cheaper wood really. However for $400 one would think the wood would be high end and the paint would be finished with some poly, yet this isn't the case.

Oh well I get all the sarcarsm except I was not arguing on the opinions matter but the "boring to some" vs. "talentless artist" issue, I pointed a finger at the moon and I see how many find easier to discuss the finger, but nevermind, feel free to come here and rant at Joe's work.

Comes from a great b-grade late night animation show in Japan called "Taka no Tsume" (The Hawk's Talon). Hilarious if you understand Japanese.

I've listed all other figures from this creator as Play Set Products, his studio, so I want to change this one as well

Play Set Products is an artist?

Play Set Products is a studio which designed these. There are three artists working in the studio so giving the credit to Nakano isn't necessarily correct
