Decided to add my own pic since there wasn't one yet :)
Anyone else has this? -

I haven't, but I love the pattern.
-

I dig it too!

Medicom is so awesome. Using mid-century modern time and time again. Love this. Kaivo pattern is great, have not seen the unikko pattern for sale.
I need this! -
Where did you find yours fairlybleak? And for how much did you get it? :)
Haven't seen these for sale anywhere.
And actually I have two of these: one on display, one sealed in its bag in a opened box. -

^^ KR forum sales thread. $45 shipped?
-
Weird that this still is so rare here. But there surely isn't any of these on sale anywhere: have checked from time to time.
I think I really want the Unikko one as well someday. They surely would make a great pair :) The back of this one is really nice as the pattern goes also there all the way from the top to bottom.
Also gotta support Finnish design as a Finn ;) -

If you take a closer look on that eBay link you'll see how many scuffs it has on one of the legs, and still it went for 43 bucks. This must indeed be very rare. Damn!

Nice spot Jan!
Seems like they might be some glue-marks or something like that..
Funny that one of my earliest pieces seems to be this rare :D
I should add these here someday: http://www.flickr.com/photos/... />
The other one has some glue residue, or something, on its leg. It was like that straight from the capsule. Should try to clean it someday.

A little bit; it's bigger than I would like right now. Also I had doubles of a couple things, this Sqube for instance. Most of it's priced at less than what I paid.

Mini figures especially are very hard to display well... -

Bam! Just found this in a store while visiting Helsinki. The paint-style is very cool
-
dang, u have stores there, no fair!!
-
I think only two SMALL stores in Helsinki sell a really limited selection of designer toys :D So this was definitely a good find especially here.
And they even had a un-opened package of this one in storage. So not bad at all! -
13 years ago
You don't have any stores selling any designer toys there where you live? :)
-
nothing at all, the internet is my only toy hook up here.
-
Damn..
The same to me really, but I really rarely visit Helsinki and this year I found out that few shops sell some Qees etc. :) From one shop I bought a few J-League Be@rbricks from a capsule machine a few years ago, when I didn't know practically anything about designer toys yet, but that shop is out of business already.
It seems that we have to start our own businesses mate ;) -

Same thing here in Copenhagen. Sucks! :(
I'd really like an European kaiju online store (it's getting tiresome with the customs!!)
The only one I know is V-KINGS, but Peer doesn't have a large selection.
I sometimes consider starting my own. *sigh* -
-
But hey, its nice to know that we few Nordic folks are on the same boat with this hard-to-buy stuff! :)
It would be cool to someday know if there's even any other Finnish designer toy collectors, but we'll see. -

How you guys bumped in to the whole designer toys scene?
-

im irish but i have lived in both london & new york, started collecting maybe 7 years ago now.

Kinda disappointed with my Joe Ledbetter "Zodiac" horse figure, is it supposed to have seams, bubbles, and sloppy paint?
Here's what mine looks like:

That looks damn bad :/
Joe Ledbetter said they postponed the release date, because the first patch they got was very bad in quality. How is that better in quality?! -

My clumsy man threw this beauty off the shelf and now Rangeas is missing an eye. Anyone here got a spare or knows where to get one? :(
-
-
Why not first search the floor and try to re-attach the eye with Putty? :)
I think some collectors fix their toys with that stuff often. You should find that stuff quite easily on Ebay or elsewhere on the Web. Or then just use Blu Tack ;)
Some other one can correct me if I'm wrong. -

I have searched all over. It's gone! :(
I hope these T9G eyes are common dolls eyes and maybe I can get one in a hobby shop down town. -
-
Damn :(
I'm sure some other collector will give you info whether they are some normal dolls eyes or whether you mind get them somewhere easily.
Nevertheless good luck with the hunt Jan! -
