No love for this one?
It actually looks great in person. Definitly my fave out of the KR black releases (and the less said about You-Know-What the better... :p)
I had a long chat with Jeff the night before and he's pretty happy with it.
He's also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. -

I love Jeff's art – his paintings are amazing. The Seeker, his other vinyl toy released this year, was OK, but this one is...
I don't dislike it, but I also don't like it. I really don't feel anything about the Deek. -

I know The Deek hasen't been getting a lot of love here, especially in light of the excelent sculpt that The seeker has, but... I have to say I really like it. Yes, the sculpt has it's problems, but it's a good figure. the legs and arms are great and it has a very Soto feel overall.
could Kidrobot do a better job? sure. but as one of the only Soto toys out there, I'm glad I have it. -

I thought decapitated dunny head is gonna be simply 3" dunny head, but it's bigger than 3"-er. Seems like KR made a special mold for this head.

I was close when I wrote that KR exchange rates are "£1 = $1.1 and 1€=$1". According to XE.com it's It's 1€ = $1.39, but what do they know :)

it's typical americal brand. cheaper for americans expensive for the rest of the world. apple has same exchange rates for example. (put a rude word here)!

there's VAT and customs that add up to approx. 25% in the EU. so everything that cost 1$ in the US cost 1.25$ here anyway …

if you want to report an item you have to choose from preset options. and overpriced shipping is not there. £140 including person's hourly rate (that bloke is busy) and he has to go there during day:D

Actually this excessive shipping fees may not be a bad deal if you win with a very low bid. I've seen regular auctions fetch higher prices than in this cases.

Yeah its a nice plan, making them all available as various retail special editions. But it sucks for international buyers, while the toys are very reasonable, you have to play a whole bunch of international shipping!
