Is that hole in his forehead a real hole, or just painted 3D?
-
-

It's painted
-

The hole is painted and came that way. I have this and I'm thinking of selling.

I am missing the goat if anyone has one?
-

My first toy! Sometimes I wish I'd never met him... (Take a look at my collection here, which is only a part of my entire collection.)
-
@hu8o It was also my first dunny! :)
I bought him on eBay for $3.24 -

There's always one toy that starts everything off, then you continue to slide down that vinyl and resin lined slope :D
-

Aw, I'm missing his staff! :( I took the herder with me on a trip abroad, and lost it! Does anyone got an extra, perhaps?

Maybe this guy has one you could borrow? http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M_L...

Maybe he's up for a trade? I have some wine, bread or my firstborn son to offer. :P

Throw in a crown of thorns and you'll most likely have yourself a deal.

but who ships first?
-

Better make it Jesus. I heard rumors that he scammed someone on the KR-board for a Kaws Stormtrooper not too long ago.

Good luck!
But I doubt you could sell it for $140... The most rare and expensive of the booted glamour cats is the golden one, and even he doesn't fetch over $100. -
14 years ago
thank you for the info. well, I paid indecent custom fees for it and just trying to recoup the money. in that case, I'll just keep it.
one question for you, please: I noticed in some photos (including yours, I think) that the head is rotating. I tried that without success. -
14 years ago
No problem. Yeah, I know the feeling – after paying a lot for shipping and custom fees, the total price of the toy goes waaaay up for non-US collectors. And after that, selling it for that price turns to be an impossible task :(
Regarding the head – yeah, it is rotating. Apply some force, and it will rotate. You can also may try to hold the toy in hot water for a few minutes – it will soften the vinyl, and it will be easier to rotate the head. -

thanks a lot for the tip. I was afraid to force it, for 2 good reasons: one- to not ruin/damage it and two- well, judging by its scary appearance, what if it fights back? :-D
-
Yeah, this cat is fierce-looking :D
Actually, most people who don't know this toy's name, think it's a dog :) -

yep, that's the reason I think hard these days before buying a toy - unless it's a cheap mini - if I *really* want it and if I think I'm going to keep it my collection, becasue shipping fees make it about 50% more expensive then original price.
regardless of price, I get kind of attached to my toys and don't like the idea of selling :) -
-

Shipping for me is always about 30-50% of the price, its a real shame :(
I also don't sell anything..... Yet I do have a few boxes packed away full of figures. -

I'm in Israel, and for me I find the best prices come from Hong-Kong. second is UK, and the US is the most expensive shipping...

Here are some shipping secrets I've gained since I started collecting ;)
The shipping price chart goes as following:
1. China / Honk Kong – lowest shipping prices. Very reliable.
2. Japan – pretty low shipping prices, even EMS (Express Mail) , which is VERY expensive in all other countries. SAL is even cheaper than EMS, but no tracking is available.
3. UK – very decent prices.
4. USA – for small items USPS First-Class Mail Int'l is a perfect solution (very cheap, and fast, but no tracking). For heavier (more than 4 lbs.), larger packages ask for USPS Priority Int'l (more expensive, same shipping times, has tracking). Don't bother with USPS Express.
5. Germany – relatively decent prices.
6. Singapore – relatively decent prices.
7. France / Netherlands / Spain – very expensive. -

Regarding new Musgrove toy – I totally agree with you, Scott should make some new toy! His sculpts are amazing!

Cheers for the list vadimt!! I used to get everything shipped through work as we had a courier set-up in Japan/US/HK and now that I no longer work there, I am a bit lost with shipment costs.

This Treeson was sold out long ago, so your only option to get it is eBay, or any other after-marker source.

@Hawks: Just message him directly. Some ebay sellers list only their home country and have no problem sending somewhere else.

It's amazing how popular Treeson has became in the recent years! I still remember time when Firefly and Urban Treesons were sold on eBay for about $20 :)

You can find it pretty easily on eBay. Usually it pops up every 2-3 weeks or so. Sometimes single figures, but sometimes people sell complete sets.
I got me a complete green set from eBay for a very good price.

Oh, I didn't know someone commented here. Thanks, yes I think they are still available on a UK online store I buy from but a complete set all at once would be cool.
