Dumb. The painting it's based on is slightly more interesting, but this thing leaves out the central premise. This is just a rabbit with antlers. I guess if you display the toy next to the print it will work. Luke Chueh continues to underwhelm me.

Haha well, I had a bad experience with Ayako in the starting period of my shop.
I invested a great deal of money (what was scarce in that phase) in the handmade Polystone Buuts Buuts she created, but due to very very VERY bad QC (I had versions without eyes, missing headcreatures, scratched etcetera...) and she basically told me not to bother her with that :(
Making me sell those Buuts Buuts with a lot of loss which in that period was hard to swallow, decided never to deal with her products again.... kinda childish from my side now after all these years maybe when I think about it now... but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth ! -

I can understand what a frustration it must have been for you, especially in those early days. It must have been a very disappointing experience all round and would make anyone hesitant about future dealings :(
However... Uamous are wonderful creatures :) -

Only reason I would want a larger run is to bring the price down, but these are great and love the fact that it's handmade and limited !

Makes sense to me, KAWS seems to be making toys using all the same licenses that Medicom have brought, since they produce his toys, cop-out?

I'm still not a fan of Partners, I just mean this toy explains the white base, the dimensions, and the overall look of the KAWS version. Now I'm thinking if you displayed the two pieces together it wouldn't be half bad. One thing's for sure, demand for this particular toy is going up right about now.

WOA GUYS!
the last 3 days were a mess over here. our internet connection made issues and after being many hours with AT&T and their automated calling system on the phone without results, they made me download a connection restoring program, which then froze my laptop up, the second i opened it.
we went to the apple store and got it now working again without any damage and the internet is finally fixed, too!
So now back to the topic and sorry for chewing all your ears up, but i had to rant!!! <3

@Fliphappy (and the other interested people): I was supposed to have someone make me a webpage, but that is not just happening, yet for some reason.
and I am not saying, my stuff is not for sale anywhere, but if i can be honest, as much as i would love to put here a "where-to-buy-link" up, i am a little bit afraid to do so, because during the wonderful year, i have spent on roto, i also observed from time to time that there are shocked reactions about the prices of mainly self-produced collectibles....Aaaaaaand of course, i fear the same thing could happen with my stuff.

@SillyK - I would not be ashamed of your prices, you've got great pieces and people are clearly interested and wanting to add your art to their collections.
And trust me, we've all paid crazy prices for art/toys/whatever. I'm sure your stuff won't shock anyone :) we'll be nice!

SillyK for the amount of detail work on your pieces, I don't think your prices are too high. Not a bargain by any means, but they're fine. I can tell there are many hours work involved.

@TOY: Mange tak ^_^ and you don't have to rush with the OG owls. none of them are sold, yet.i have painted 3 so far and i set myself a limit of 15 maximum in case there are requests.

Hej TOY, that is my fault. Etsy itself gives you the option to ship anywhere, one just has to enable it.
and since i have to go to the post office later anyways, i can find out directly how much it would be to ship over the big pond. ^_^

That's awfully sweet of you, Sil :) But with international shipping we end on $155.00 + my usual customs fee, ca. $45-55, that's more than $200, I just have to pass this time. :(

One or two years ago it only happened once or twice each 6 months, but it seams they got their eye on me now. I can hardly order anything now outside the EU without they're charging me. You know what? I have even tried asking sellers to 'down value' the toys on that little label, but the nazis tend to OPEN the package and search for an invoice!
Also, it's unfair that the customs free limit here in Denmark only is $15, I think I remember UK buyers can shop for at least twice that amount without getting caught. :(

To my Outside EU customers I always send without invoice (not needed when marked gift) and mark value ower then €25. THis cannot always be done with large packages but everything seems to be arrving alright and sometimes ends up the customer being charged a little amount.
Either way Try buying through the Retailers in Europe Jan and ask them to get those pieces you really want, off course ebay stuff is almost impossible but y'all know where to find me :)
