It isn't a mini figure so it wasn't in a series, it's a new 6" Simpsons vinyl release :)

fun fact: Created by legendary “Life is Hell” cartoonist Matt Groening, The Simpsons is celebrating its 500th episode. Kidrobot is honoring the father of primetime animation in the only way we know how – making him into a 6-inch vinyl toy. Complete with goatee and glasses, director’s jacket, and pad and pencil accessories, it is the first EVER Simpsons Matt Groening toy.

This was one hell of a series. Touma, Kaijin, T9G... all in the same series. Damn. I'm pretty sure I have seen pictures of painted ones but they may have been one-off hand painted figures.

PBM only had like 50 or 60, they only supply 5 stores with this stock kinda of monopolizing the designer toy game. But hell, it's nice for them they got stuff other shops can't have.
But enough other cool stuff around i'm not getting myself worked up about this anymore :)
