Possibly the best regular release so far. I've had pretty much every colour variant through my hands while muleing for folk in Tokyo and this one just rocks! It looks really good paired with the clear brown one!

Just scored one on ebay. Can't wait to get it now. This gets me to 17 out of 26.

Just paid the customs charges and collected this badboy from the Post Office and it's every bit as amazing as I expected it to be.
The gold is super glossy and a lot better than the World & Japan versions.

This is a Da Fighter, not Da Warrior!

It is also flocked and that isn't noted under the "material" description.

Flock is not a material, but finish.
Do we need special group for all the flocked toys? :) -

I would say yes!

I think it might be a good idea. There seem to be a lot of them these days. Instinctoy Inc, Usugrow Salvation and Rebel Ink, Tim Tsui Da Fighter etc...

My bad guys. I was trying to add it to the Library. I put what I know about it.

This is one of three original vinyl test pieces made by Itokin Park. There was a slight error on the right eye that needed to be corrected before going to production. The black prototypes came after this first version and had the eyes corrected. Itokin Park has one, Luke Rook of Lulubell Toy Bodega has one and I have the final one that I got as a gift in exchange for helping Itokin with a bunch of translation work.

Jesus, I'd love a Himalan. Too bad they're so expensive! :(

$325 for a Kaleyard?? Hahahah! No way. Not even a Pearl or Ghost Himalan will get that kind of money. Good luck 2_aa. Kaleyards are one of the more common versions.

are they really that expensive now? my word. mine was $50 i think (and I love it, though not as much as the super alloy nano which i never see for resale)

Yet another ebay sale asking a silly price. $145 is still way too high for a Kaleyard.

I know Itokin visited a few vinyl factories in China but haven't heard anything since and that was many months ago. The initial idea was for this mini design to actually be bigger than the Himilan we all know and love. He was supposed to be the the big brother as it were. It may also be in limbo due to One up owning the rights to the original Himalan.

I found mine in a used toy shop in Tokyo. They had no idea as to what it was. Got it for about $40. Heh.

Man this toy looks really good in person, very detailed and substantial. Does anyone know anything about the Don Quixote figure from this studio?
-

Never released. Looks like the project is dead actually. Too bad cuz the Sancho is one of my all time favourite designs. I hope I'm wrong and the others eventually come out.
-

damn, i thought as much, the website has said coming soon for a long time. I finally got a Sancho and was really impressed and think that the Don Quixote would have been epic

Just one of those things I think. They were mainly a corporate design group but they didn't get enough work to keep the company together. The toys they did were just a fun thing they did on the side. They did publish a book of their work though that you can sometimes find. It is on Y!Jp pretty regularly.
