Did JPK have to remove the chrome coating before painting? The chrome ones had a real problem with cracking and I can't imagine that would be an easy surface to paint on. BTW this is probably my favourite of JPK's RIs. Any chance of a picture of the back?

Yard - I had 2 of the and the surface was really good with very minimal cracking.
I'm pretty sure Jon primed straight over the chrome and just masked off the flock.
I'll replace the photos later today ;) -

Dang! I know the black chrome had the least issues with cracking but two without any cracks is rare. Very lucky indeed. Great addition to your collection man.

Finally found one! Cost s pretty penny too.

I like the brown better than the previous blue and the coloured teeth are a cool idea but I almost see them more as a collar than teeth.

Any hints for cleaning the flocked belly? I have the blue 1st colour way and it attracts any and all air bourn stuff. Unfortunately I don't have a cabinet or protective box or the like.

The correct platform name is not Imu Imu, it is Buutsu Buutsu. The kanji character for Buutsu is 仏 which looks a heck of a lot like the katakana characters for 'i' イ and 'mu' ム combined. Easy mistake to make. The Buutsu is in reference to the buddhist nature of the figure. 仏教 'bukkyou' is Japanese for Buddhism so that's where the character and name come from. Hope that helps.
