did you buy it on ebay from the seller 'littleduckduck' ? I was interested in this one too (and others), but if you check his feedback, it looks like he is selling factory rejects... + he sold quite some rare bearbricks over and over again.

Middleclass, I don't know about that seller but the BWWT bearbricks were sold in sets and some seller have multiple sets and sell individual bearbricks.

Artist = Monsieur A (André)
-

There is also a smaller version (of the complete statue) ;-)
He did the same with Bart Simpsons for a Colette exhibition. -

It seems like so: http://andamosarmados.com/wp-... />
Hat tip to MiddleClass for that!
But how come he didn't add his trademarks eyes on the Mickeys? -
13 years ago
I would like to have been a fly on the wall when the licensing people came into Robert Iger's office at Disney with pictures of this! :D
-
^ thanks J_Walrus. Monsieur André used to sell the smaller version in black in his museumshop 'Black Block' in Paris. That version didn't have his trademarks eyes either if i remember correctly.

Size 6?
Check out the surroundings!
A doll house? -
-

Looks like it is sitting on a table.
-

Then again, the mirror! Must be 6 foot? Or a dolls house
-
J_Walrus posted the "scale shot" link above - so it must be 6 foot:

OK, so in size, it´s 6 foot, not 6 inches. :)

Every now and then I see a figure and think WTF, this is one of those figures, - it's so damn weird, but also sort of captivating, lol
-

Actually, I just saw one irl yesterday and the material is RESIN, not porcelain...
And seeing it, makes me want it even more :D

Great a new one ! Does someone know if there were other versions released besides the 12",24", 36" and the 36" SSUR version?
I believe a recently noticed a camo (light brown) version in a book.

Fashionists are to blame.
-
Over 100 years old fashion house and its brand are to blame.
And not saying for one bit that it would be anyway right or reasonable. -
12 years ago
They were not on sale. They were made as decoration for Chanel stores in 2006. You can only have one if you know someone who would sell it to you. Thre has been some in auctions.

being a porcelain statue brings into into a new price level.
it is also obviously not a "toy", though it certainly belongs to our world and I don't want to open that conversation again :p -
