MIST (1972)This is at the end of the 80's that Mist discover the graffiti near the RER rails, on his way to school. Fascineted by what he saw, he realize his first graffiti in 1988. His paintings, mixing vivid colors and Wildstyle letters won't let anyone indifferent, and soon, he is recognized as one of the best graffiti artist in Paris. He is also one of the few to be as good in character design as in lettering. In 1998, he developes his sculpture work and realize his first character in volume.
In 2003, he edits his first Malus toy, now unavailable. He then became a pionner of the "Designer toys" movement. The experts recognize him as one of the 5 greatest artists, along with Kaws or Futura. Nowadays, Mist is entirely dedicated to the painting and the sculpture in his studio in Montpellier where he now lives. His work is inspired by the graffiti graphic codes and it now goes beyond that with a work which tend to be more and more abstract.
