Actually we should leave the Manufacturer field empty when it's a custom. This is not a production piece! If you want to see who manufactured the platform for the custom, you can just click on the platform tag and find one of the production pieces. It's a bit annoying that customs show up when you look for stuff Gargamel has produced.
hahahaaa, now i see where all this started from dan! although i do agree if your making a custom, the platform label should be there, you gotta give credit to the person who made the toy first & came up with the idea... because after alll, if the pocket smogun platform was never released, there would never be this custom!
... the other reason why it really helps to have the platform label there too is if i see a custom i like/want and have no idea what the platform is, i just go look at the platform and click it and see the production toys, because chances are, i will want those too!
(btw, if you click on a platform and see all the production pieces and customs, it usually isnt hard to tell whats a custom and whats not just by looking at it)

Disagree. It's still the same platform/manufacturer no matter who painted it.

Yeah, I'm just going to repeat myself :)
NOT a production toy ergo NO manufacturer.
Makes sense, eh?
Totally agree with you regarding platform.
It's TERRIBLY annoying that customs show up when you look for stuff Gargamel has PRODUCED.
Goes for series as well.
Let's hear what other collectors have to say. :)

I think I'm with Jan, but that's going to require a lot of tag deleting.

Ok, you two old grumpy naysayers ;) Answer me this one then:
Why did someone at some time choose to seperate customs from production pieces, and hide them in a 'secret' place?
If your illogical reasoning would make any sence ALL 21 000+ toys in our library should be on the front page, right?
