:-( it was indeed hard for me to upload this.
a quick update of my sad story: I still have one half of bird "displayable".
as about the other half, the damaged one- my mother is the handiest person in the whole world- she glued the broken pieces (well, most of them, not all) and now, besides the glue traces (which I hope I will be able to clean), it looks almost OK from a distance...
