In what was one of the most devilishly clever enticements in promotional history, Tylenol sponsored the production and give-away of these toys as part of its Ouch! campaign, supporting artists and atheletes "...who embrace their pain in order to achieve something extraodinary."

Designed by Ron Rege Jr., the Twins and their nemesis The Agitator are based on a series of comics drawn for Ouch!, and the figures were produced by Critterbox; one of the most well-respected and revered manufacturers of high-end art-toys. Each figure comes packaged in a cylindrical casing that features original illustrations by Ron, and have been produced in limited numbers. In order to have get these, you needed to track down a special coupon, then take it to a participating retailer back in November 26th and January 6th 2004.

What an excellent figure this is. He's always looking up, and to his left. What's up there? Also, it appears Ron signed his name on the bottom in blue marker.

For 1 book from Usugrow store direct it's about £37 (shipping included) for the Japanese version, signed.
They say there will be a regular version too from places like amazon sometime soon. I've written to ask when that might be.

I just bought one on Ebay!
They are really nice, never been out of the box.
I remember when they came out but either I didnt see one locally or wasnt buying as many toys back then.
Pip almost has a hand made quality about him which I really like, and Norton...well, Norton is just squat,in a good way!
I'm slowly buying up the iconic toys that got me into the scene in the firstplace.
    Huzzah!

Oh, and they are really nicely packaged too, shame I dont have the display room to have them in their car! :)

Norton is my favourite 3"er EVER!
And the comic books ruled my world years ago. Shame they were never released as hardcovers. Mine have been read to shreds. Used to smoke a lot more weed back then and study each frame for hours. Stoned! Gosh, Dave Cooper's early works are to die for. Especially his Weasel books where this guy appeared: http://rotocasted.com/toy/127.... Later when he began painting endless lines of naked ladies I was off.
