Yes indeed! As I recently learned on skullbrain, people are crazy protective of their toy pics.
-
It depends what people are using them for. But for a database I wouldn't mind at all.

I said the same thing! And boy did I get attacked for it.

Of course you did. You were on SkullBrain. You tried to do something helpful so you got smacked down. You should see what happens when you inform folk of a timed sale or a "secret sale". Makes Ferguson look like a spring picnic./rant

Would any of these work?

One of my personal "holy grail" toys. Been wanting it steadily for almost 2 years after missing my chance. Almost broke into the case at One Up in Tokyo and "liberated" it. With many thanks to Gordon, one of these rare fellas is now mine.
8.5 inches of rotocast vinyl in woodgrain colorway with GID accents. Comes with extra footprints, naturally, and the kind of deluxe box I'll probably hang onto for a long while. -

So happy to be of help my man. Give him a good home and he'll take care of you for a long time! Those early Oneup release boxes were so nice. To bad they just got too expensive to continue with.

you know what would help you sell your toys.... a paypal payment option.

Paypal is so high with their fees. The BigCartel site uses Stripe, which is a Paypal competitor (strangely enough with the original paypal founders as its major investors), but I prefer them much more. And Stripe, at least, does not make buyers sign up with them to use them like Paypal does. You just pay through the site with a credit card like you would with any small online store. I don't know why everyone is so addicted to paypal. They are practically a monopoly now and their fees are so high. Don't you ever buy through online stores that have their own carts and take credit cards directly? Not sure why that is a problem. I buy through small stores and use my credit card all the time. I have never had a problem with it.
That being said, thank you for the suggestion. I have sold quite a bit over the last few months, but might very well do better by switching to paypal. It is something to consider. -

Creditcards are not popular everywhere in the world, besides most alternatives for Paypal are not accepted around the globe....
-
I have no credit or debit card, which is why i use paypal. Can only spend what i have on my paypal & no more(which helps me limit myself). Also, it's accepted at like 90% of places online.

No credit card... Then how do you maintain a good credit score? Or is that a US thing, having your credit score determine just about everything from renting apartments to getting loans? :x

As far as i know in the Netherlands getting a loan, or renting a place is based of your current paycheck. No paycheck = no loan or renting a place. And when you fail to pay bills and stuff you get registered in a database basically blacklisting you for future financial stuff.

credit scores, aren't just based on credit cards. They're based on your ability to pay any long-term thing. Such as bills. However, i have basically no credit score either way(as my housemate is who's name is on most of our bills). Nothing I stress about much in life however.
The simple ability to buy toys online on the other hand, IS something i tend to think about.
