If I could 'like' a comment, I'd 'like' yours fliphappy :)

You're right, I think the only Visell pieces I really love are the seahorses.

People finally agree with fliphappy's criticism! This is a heartwarming moment. : P

seems like she took your advice about the vinyl toy with wooden textured surface.

: ( I'm not hating on you. I love how straight-up you are, and I'm glad that people are coming together on this piece and that AV should diversify her work... : (

If fliphappy wasn't around to have a different opinion, things would be boring and I love him for that! (and so should everyone else) Even so, I also agree on this, I have been waiting for another figure from her for some time.
Also, some figures replicating the wood treatment (like that sweet bat by Gary Ham) are cool but I would prefer this toy in wood.
Its not a complicated form so why not get a developing nation to make them? You can spin that for sales, while helping people out! Now that would make an interesting continued release of this toy from Amanda rather than other objects it eats. -

@ CoMus That's an idea. Jibibuts are said to be made from sustainably grown/harvested trees. Still, I don't know whether Noferin is using fair trade labor or what. Here's a cool place to buy fairly traded housewares and decor from all over the world, and as far as price goes, some of the items are cheap, while others I would compare to spending $40 on a 3-inch piece of vinyl. :)

Someone enjoys bragging... :P
-
I am guilty of bragging for showing what is in my collection here ;) Some brag more by adding stuff that they've pre-ordered and not actually received yet.
-

I was actually referring to topqualitypro, but I don't think showing what is in your collection is bragging... much :)
-

bragging is an important part of the pleasure of collecting.

sorry who's doing what now?
-

actually I wasn't really bragging on this one ,I wanted to get one of these for a friend,he's interested in this if anyone has to sell.
-

Oh! I get it. So you want to know who has a 4 foot version rather than saying 'Who wants to know who has a 4 foot version *brag brag brag*' :) my apologies :)

Yes I was asking not really bragging, words may have been written wrong.

I have a friend who blows glass for a living and is really good. Lately he's been experimenting with some of the Kaws designs in glass. If anyone is semi interested send me a message and i can send pics, etc..... jgodinez302@yahoo.com

That's interesting, why not post it here?
-

Well it's glass ad custom, not mass produced and no 2 will ever be "identical" so it really doesn't have a place here. Just thought i'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested.

What about posting the link to the pictures here in comments section?
-

Here is the link to some pictures. Mind you this is just the prototype to see how feasible the design would be in glass. So please don't be too critical :/ There are more coming.

You wouldn't f'ing believe what just happened to me. So I won an OG Kaws 5YL last week on the Bay. After paying $50 for shipping, the seller shipped it in an ENVELOPE. But that's not even the worst part. When I open the envelope.... its foot rolls out. Words cannot express how royally pissed off I am right now.

You can probably get a refund from eBay. Its happened with me before. It's a lot of trouble, but worth it.
-

I'm working with the seller to get a refund. Would have rather had the Companion, though. Aside from the foot, its condition was actually better than the photos showed.
-

hu8o- did you have to let eBay know you were sending it back? I don't want to ship it back and get burned. I already filed a complaint with eBay but I've only communicated with the seller through eBay, not PayPal's dispute center.
-

I actually had to send a declaration that I had destroyed the items. No need to send them back. But this was after utter refusal of refunding from the seller. Sending the items back would have meant more expenses, and those were not refundable.

PS - Definitely didn't know that this guy was GID. Found out very late one night when I turned off the lights in my Detolf and saw him glowing away.

Okay, sorry for spamming the email of everyone who has alerts set up, but does anyone know if Ramond Choy designed these original Worker Toyers?
