I have the original figure that I believe this one and Sucklord's "Green Gremlin" (http://rotocasted.com/toy/3314/) is based on.

Flies. Did it come in the kind of... blister pack thing? There's the bit where the Qee is, then there's a little extra rectangular space underneath where mine has three plastic flies and the keyring attachment... :S

Hmmm... I doubt it to be honest, as the background of the blister pack has flies on it, and the design is like a venus fly trap... maybe you should email Clutter and ask them why I have plastic flies and you don't? :P

This is one of my favorite Qees because in addition to collecting Qees, I also have a collection of carnivorous plants. I can weigh in and say I got mine off eBay in a blister pack and it did not come with plastic flies. I think it's rad if your eBay seller put them in though--way to go the extra mile for that sale!

Yeah I really do :) I don't collect them in the same way I collect toys, but I have maybe about 25 different plants: Flytraps, Pitchers, Sundews. I don't like bugs and I love plants, so carnivores are kind of a win win. I'm in the process of redoing my website, so maybe I'll devote some space to the plants. I have little videos of bees struggling to get out of the Pitchers. It's really one of the worst ways to die. I've freed insects before because I feel so bad for them. And it takes a lot for me to empathize with a mosquito...

No worries on the question it was such a long time ago now. The flies were something that we threw in as an extra for people who bought the Venus Fly trap from us direct. I cant even remember where they came from now but we always liked that idea of throwing in that little something extra when you bought it from us. Bit laborious to insert them in with every Qee but worth it!
You may even have bought it from us via eBay! :D

Haha, that's the last thing I need! I need to liquidate a lot of tiny plastic. Look for some items in the For Sale section in the future. No plastic flies though...

Idea: The pluralis form in the name of the toy indicates that the head is MEANT to be snapped off. That way you can choose the main face yourself? Huh?

Trexis heads' usually turn. This one must be defective somehow, since that's a couple pieces where it's just snapped right off.

This series of 4 figures made for the Sydney Morning Herald by Jon Burgerman and Thunderdog Studios is one of my favorite sets of minis ever--and in my opinion, one of the best representations of Jon's characters in 3D vinyl.
