@jazzydan wow...the skull in your collection is really gorgeous!

Thanks, it's resin, and life-size. Not sure it is suitable to upload here?

The Kidrobot Black site has a "Buy" button, I was able to put one in my cart.
Looks cool but I can't afford to spend $200 + $20 sales tax. -

Allover prints is so outdated.
They should've made a bandana as an accessory! Arrr..

I really can't see myself dispalying a piece like this in my collection. Overall I think it's nice, but the gold teeth... ugh.
plus, the 200$ price tag is waaay too high. -
-
@sergeySafonov THAT IS HILARIOUS.
-

LOL
-
Haha, I'm totally with Sergey here, Allover prints are SO 2009! ;) Admittedly this is sort of a cool piece though, but the gold teeth turn me off somehow – don't even want to think of the price, it's ridiculously high.
-

was it released to mark the death of a company? :P

Got this for free as a review sample, otherwise I don't think I'd ever actually buy it
-
Oh, I do indeed have the review up: http://tomopop.com/tomopop-re... />While it is a nice piece, it is not something I would ever have in my collection, and it is a bit....on the pricey side

On the subject of Kidrobot Black, Jeff Soto's Deek is finally sold out, so I wonder how long it'll be until Tara McPherson's rumoured KR Black contribution pops up...

You know what, looking back now, I really like this piece. Shame it was so over-priced.
I'd lose the lower jaw so the teeth look less goofy, and be tempted to repaint it a little... -

Why didn't they make the teeth fit like normal teeth, instead of giving it that underbite?

Another mystery one! Can't work out where on earth this is from. Could be a fake.
Its very cool, kinda halfway between being glitter coated and being made out of crinkled tin foil. The picture does it no justice at all. -

I'll be in my business attire, as I'm coming straight from work. I doubt there will be many people in there in business casual. I will also be wearing funky glasses with white plastic sides.
Is there usually a cue for these things? -

How much was yours? -

£65 in the Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester. When I saw that they sold them I had to get one :) I had to resist buying a load of blind boxes as well... they've got shelves full :D
-
I could have had my arm twisted at £75 :/
I think I will be resisting the same temptation on Thursday at Kidrobot London, I'm not very good at resisting temptations, better leave my VISA card at home!! -
14 years ago
Damn! Oh well :) is Thursday the Dunny 2010 launch? They're doing one at the Richard Goodall Gallery too, but having to work is stopping me attending :(
-
Certainly is. I'm crossing my fingers I can get out of work a few hours early to get up to London in time. Funny thing is I don't think KR London are having an official one, we're just going up to have our own ;)

Now selling for $35 at Kidrobot.
http://www.kidrobot.com/Toys/DesignerToys/CobblerDunny8.html -
14 years ago
£22ish?! Grrrrrr.
-
Hmm... I just realised that it's not for sale at Kidrobot.eu, and that the shipping from kidrobot.com to Europe is almost the same as the price for the Cobbler. Shipping is $29, so it would still end up costing me $64. I'll pass.
-
I mean, I already got mine a while ago at a gallery in Manchester for a lot more. And shipping to Europe is always ridiculous.
-
I think its £23 in Kidrobot London, a slap in the face for everyone who paid £65 for it. But hey they can't all be a winner.
-
Moar grrrrrr.
-
Anyone willing to sell this? :)
-
really? I should imagine there are a fair few people with one of these to get rid of, they were about £22 at KRLDN for a fair while.
-
Yep, I should think so too :)
So if anyone is willing to sell hit me a message at j_munny@rocketmail.com and I'm also interested in other kind of 8" Dunnys. The price could be at max 100 euros (89£ , 142$).
I think I'm done with Dunnys and was thinking to buy one 8" or some other bigger size toy to top of my collection. So suggestions anyone? :P -

I just found this, but has anyone bought anything from this shop? The negative comments made me doubt:

Anyone help me out on this one? What is it? Is it a Qee? Is it on the collector Cards?
Its like a lego mini fig version of a Qee. It has the keychain and the logo on the chest. I'm very confused. -

I brought it thinking it was the mini-qee, but obviously not. Now it's just thrown me completely. I'm normally pretty good with Toy2r stuff. Where's Raymond when you need him.

Here's the answer.
Sergey,
Thank you for your inquiry about the toy in question at http://rotocasted.com/toy/662... />
It is indeed an older Toy2R product.
Before we designed the Qee figure - prodcution ideas were still focused on a mini block platform figure. This was one of a very few original 2 inch figure designed by Raymond Choy. It was one of the first forms of a Keychain Block Figure he came up with. In fact it was titled TOYER (as shown on the package) and look how much it has evolved.
As with all of Toy2R products - Raymond continued to work on the design until he finally developed the iconic Qee Figure. From there the rest is history - but this figure in question is basically how it all got started. As you can see from the line drawing on the package - the look was basic and humaniod at first but with a little work - the Qee finally came to be, paving the way for Toy2R and many other block companies to follow.
I hope that answers your question and if you have any more - do not hesitate to contact us again.
Thank you for your support and keep up the great work on your website!
Sincerely,
Kevin -
