This was based on the 1983 movie The Deadly Spawn and was sold through Mondotees.com to promote the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX. 15 pieces were sold to U.S. customers and 10 were for international customers.

The boots are removable, so they're easy to twist and tweak to get them to stand straight.

I just bought a bunch of stuff at Characterstation.com and I noticed they have an almost full set -

the site is in french but I used google translate and the shipping wasn't so bad. they have a bunch of rare mini figures!
notice that you have to register first and I also didn't find a way to remove anything from the basket so only add stuff you're sure you want otherwise you have to erase and start over.
and when your'e done with what you want press "comander".

Kozik still produces smorking toys, but maybe in a crisis of conscience, or maybe to aim at kids, he has released non-smorking toys. He has also put a warning in some smorking toys: "I smoke so you don't have to", which is pretty lame in my opinion.

It's definitely a fake. The ebay seller who first put them up has an email posted on the kidrobot boards where he explains that they are "customs" and shouldn't be confused with the genuine article. Not Kaws.
