im assuming its a 5 piece run, given the pic. also, there where other teams (mutants, etc.)
this has to be one of the most laborious jobs I've ever seen on resin and the paint app is superb. it comes with a pair of extra arms and a display box.
the chest opens to show a clear piece of resin sprayed with a cherry paint. great detail and even better sculpt.

I think they're kinda neat, but im not so keen on nearly 500 dollars for them, really?
(i believe these are Prototypes & there will be a production run of these)
PS: Bum holes!!! -

Well,
I looked through his page sometime earlier and I also don't think that 9" Anatomical Mario shouldn't cost 2000 dollars or 4" Anatomical Munny 1300$.
Even though they are "one of a kind items" this feels like really milking the buyers.. -

Why do people pay 100 million for a van Gogh....

oh indeed, im ok with people charging whatever they deem right for their work, i was expressing my own feelings on wheteher i would pay it. I agree art is really worth exactly as much as people are willing to pay. no hate here, just saying 'I personally wouldn't pay close on 500 dollars for this piece'

I wasn't hating either. Simply "IMHO" expressing my own opinion :)

A toy designer charging at (correct) consulting rates, good on him I say! More people should do it really.

I'd love a production version of this :)

indeed they are, i would definitely get a production version! i brought up the price aspect only to stimulate conversation
how could you not like these with their funny little butts!! -

Agreed about the production version. The price is a little steep, then again I've got three toys on my brain based want list that are well over £100 :/

Edition is 25. Regarding price, they sold on JailbreakToys for $50. :)

well the volume and price changed, there was an initial run about 5 months ago of 3 i think, sold directly by jason for $480 hene the original count and year being 2011, the 25 done now & sold for $50 through jailbreak toys should be added to the original 3 making quantity 28 i guess. also if i had of bought one of the original 3 i would be mighty pissed at the same thing being sold for a much lower price

Ah... thanks for the update. That makes some sense. I was wondering why the comments were from 5 months ago, but I couldn't tell how long the FOR SALE had been listed. Ya, I would be pissed too.
I was actually able to put one in my cart, but just couldn't do $50 at the time so decided not to get one. I couldn't imagine $500, but some people just gotta have it. -

i would have picked one up but shipping options were only US or Bahamas, no europe :(

They are real cool but screw paying all that cash for something so tiny.

this photo does no justice to the milky clear vinyl and paint app.

I think you can suggest to the administrator to change it for a good photo you could take. :)
