you know, I have a bunch of bearbricks with various finishes and paint complexities and almost none of them have any QC issues. now, these are pretty small toys with sometimes complicated paint application.
way to go Medicom! -

Medicom is so awesome. Using mid-century modern time and time again. Love this. Kaivo pattern is great, have not seen the unikko pattern for sale.
I need this! -

Where did you find yours fairlybleak? And for how much did you get it? :)
Haven't seen these for sale anywhere.
And actually I have two of these: one on display, one sealed in its bag in a opened box. -

^^ KR forum sales thread. $45 shipped?
-

Weird that this still is so rare here. But there surely isn't any of these on sale anywhere: have checked from time to time.
I think I really want the Unikko one as well someday. They surely would make a great pair :) The back of this one is really nice as the pattern goes also there all the way from the top to bottom.
Also gotta support Finnish design as a Finn ;) -

Nice find Jan, thanks! :)
They seem to really wanted as a loose one, without a package or anything, gets a price like that. -

If you take a closer look on that eBay link you'll see how many scuffs it has on one of the legs, and still it went for 43 bucks. This must indeed be very rare. Damn!

Nice spot Jan!
Seems like they might be some glue-marks or something like that..
Funny that one of my earliest pieces seems to be this rare :D
I should add these here someday: http://www.flickr.com/photos/... />
The other one has some glue residue, or something, on its leg. It was like that straight from the capsule. Should try to clean it someday.

Because of the artist, of course. You can still get the 200% Chogokin for a reasonable price. The 400% is expensive too.

I'm still looking for the 100% for a reasonable price... but with no luck so far.

100% was boxed with the 400%.

I have bearbrick binges :) I wasn't into them initially, but I find them so compellingly odd. They have a very rigid sort of shape and you get all kinds of stuff on them - from these artist patterns to all manner of pop culture icons. I think cramming all these different things on to a bear shape is a little strange and I like it. the main thing for me became the bearbrick shape itself and having widely different ones next to each other.

So after buying 40 blind boxes, getting 3 fragment artist, and 2 Phenom artist randomly (both pretty rare) I have yet to get this. I could scream when I check ebay and the only one for sale is $30 shipped.

I got it blind-boxed it in NY and lost it with a whole bag of toys in a cab in a hechtic night (a bag that included a Dumny I bought directly from Sucklord in his studio :[) and then got it again open-boxed from a window display in a Forbidden Planet in Edinburgh...
fairlyblank, do you have any duplicates from these adventures you might want to sell or trade? -
