-

Hey Nneakz, Toy Tokyo stocked the first series, so I guess they will stock the second.

I like this charity thing. I can bully people about buying stuff, and if somebody gets mad I just say, "Hey it's for charity." I'm untouchable!

$1 as a starting bid and £155 for shipping. "Awesome!"
I especially like how the seller emphasizes it – "SHIPPING COSTS are set HIGH and are not negotiable, but to welcome LOW BIDS and reduce FV fees."
"welcome low bids", yeah right...
Haven't these sellers heard about eBay excessive shipping costs policy? -
14 years ago
Ahh ebay :P
-
Its also just regular shipping, I would hate to think how much s/he would charge for shipping with insurance.
-
too bad ebay says shipping+handling, so the person can claim parking lot fees and packaging and filling the forms and so on. hands off.
-
£155 breaks down to ~£15 for shipping of the dunny case, and... £140 for parking lot fees, packaging and filling the forms?!
I don't think so... I'm pretty sure that if this listing is reported to eBay, they'll take it down, as it clearly violates their policy. -
14 years ago
How do you go about reporting a listing? Surely it'd better to start bidding low with a reserve price and an appropriate shipping cost?
-
"Report item" link on the right side, below the "Other item info".
-
The seller might be on the moon? Do people live there yet? Other than trying to charge the buyer, are they trying to get around the ebay % listing seller fee?
-
if you want to report an item you have to choose from preset options. and overpriced shipping is not there. £140 including person's hourly rate (that bloke is busy) and he has to go there during day:D
-
@aargh It's there –
1. Reason for Report -> Listing policy breaches
2. Detailed Reason -> Circumvention of eBay fees
3. Additional Information -> Excessive postage and packaging -

thanks for info vadim...did not go any further than the first step! now everyone report it:D
-
Actually this excessive shipping fees may not be a bad deal if you win with a very low bid. I've seen regular auctions fetch higher prices than in this cases.
-
I have duplicates of this one.
-

I have 3 of this one... bought 5 blind boxes and got this one 3 times. They look cool lined up like that though. A trading area on here would be really cool.

you should ask George how he did it with the UK dunny for his custom - it seemed to be a very clear stripping! :P -

There's actually two versions of Drinky Crow. Look at the x eyes on this one: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com...

Yes there are. The eyes are interchangeable.

I have a feeling that the photo may be taken from an early prototype, rather than the final object. I'm sure Drinky only had one run. I may be wrong.

I almost bought one of these on ebay last week for like $30 (after shipping). I just searched the interwebs and found it for sale from Things from Another World for only $17.99. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else is interested!

damn, this came up on ebay as a set with the uncle gabby figure too and i just lost in the last three seconds of the auction...by someone who wasn't even participating. so rude. (i don't mind getting sniped if it turns out to be someone who bid first or was bidding all along...just feels extra bad when some random person snipes it from all of us, haha.) oh well, maybe i'll get another chance someday...
