Slightly surprised uh huh. Maybe it's because of the financial crises? And this ain't a Ferg x Peters or Kaws for that matter. Who cares? I'm glad you guys convinced me to get one. Eagerly awaiting to hold it.
Oh, and Sil, when it comes to hiding toys from your man, I can tell you that it gets easier the more toys you get. Of course minis easily blend in with the others. And with the big ones I usually just lie about the retail price. *blush* -

Don't get me wrong, I picked it up because I love it, not on the hope it would double in value.
I'm just surprised that a secret base piece limited to 30 units, didn't sell out in 5 minutes.
Guess people don't have the toy budget they used to. I know I'm cutting down, or at least trying to.

i am very glad to read though, that artoyz is willing to do something about it and contacts secret base. i hope, you get either your flaws fixed or somehow, they pull out a skullhead number 31 and melt your away...
i don't have mine, yet. the toys from the netherlands took 3 weeks to get here and this one comes from france. but i am very anxious right now, that mine is not perfect as well ... hmmm :-/ -

sooooooo...i just picked up my skull head...it has a minor dent on the left side of the forhead, which seems to be something, every single skull head has. and on the back and right side are some bubbles in the vinyl (not on the surface), which might be normal as well.
i am in love with this piece! now i just have to hide it somewhere till my birthday...
i want more skull heads!!!!!!!!!
and you toy, keep us up to date about your sad crying thing. -

i am happy. i just did not expect the dent on the left part of the forehead. i checked pics though and saw, they all have this little dent and a mini dent next to the dent..so enough with the dents.
and i just wrote all this down (bubbles included) to make sure and check on you guys, if i am not wrong with my observation, because you have so many flaws on your skull.
i would love to collect many more of them though, that is for sure! alone the size is impressive, TOY :) -

Got my skull today!
Man it's a beauty - it's so RAINBOW! It really is awesome. I had prepared myself for disapointment regarding the paint problems - and yes... mine is a crier too... perhaps if they're all like that then it's part of the design - 'sad rainbow skulls'. -

Gonna be tough getting one of these. They were produced in really limited numbers (20-50 I think) and only available at Design Fest 2008 in Tokyo. The paint is done by Itokin Park's friend Shef who does the most amazing job. They are painted on the interior of the toy rather than the exterior.

There have been a couple of other rainbow colour Luchas but they were done by kaiju artist Cronic and frankly I think they were an even smaller number and the colours weren't as well blended. Shef's rainbow graduation is something to behold!

i just mailed them and then saw, that it can take up to 2 freaking weeks, till they answer me... wtf?! in 2 weeks that little guy is snatched away by somebody, who understands japanese and could figure this site out :(

i just tried the check out again with the help of my online translator, but they don't let me through the system, because my zip code is not in japan, they don't recognize it and my us phone number not either...i am f***ed with ordering online.
now i have a little hope, that the workers of the online store answer my mail soon and help me out.

so, i talked to my brother. he could not help me much either and translated me the things, i already figured out on my own.
1 is in stock, there is no sign of shipping to the usa and the check out is only for people located in japan.
YARNDARM , if you read this, could you help me with finding the english version of that webpage, so i can check, if that one ships international?

I love it when one of Kazu's pieces find great owners. Shef and Kazu (Itokin Park) are such great guys and their toys deserve to be in happy homes. Can't wait to see your pics Silly!

You're not alone, MC. This IS better than a soap. That night Sil was trying to get the Lucha Bear into her basket, I was biting my nails...and admitting...laughing at the same time. (Sitcom?)
