@doc18 thanks for the info! I had seen the 20" but never read a mention of this 8 incher anywhere...although a photo of one did pop up from MAD from his and Kozik's signing in Tokyo. Not usually a fan of Kozik's work but I like the color and mustache combo!

I totally agree on the print, jazzydan, it's not great, in fact the closer I look the more I see wrong...
Saying that, it's my first 8 incher (ooer missus) the design and colour is great and I still love it, I shall admire from a distance, in low light, squinting... -

Definitely legible if you know the script. I know some but not all of the letters. For example in this pic it says "Salvation" across the Salvation Ink's belly.

The script across the belly of the SDCC Rebel Ink is a super clear "SDCC".
Trouble is I'm almost certain the word across the bottom of the Rebel Ink back tattoo is not English. I think it is Spanish or Latin. In either case the words written in the upper arch between the shoulders and the mitre (pope's hat) are written in clear roman characters and say "Contraste Organico". You should be able to see if those letters are mirror print or regular. -

Not the font. That's an Usugrow original. They are roman letters though but written in a really funky style. I got it now though. The letters across the bottom of the back say "INKFORLIFE". Makes sense eh.

I cannot find a complete alphabet of Usugrow's font. That may be purposefully done on his part. I'd love to have that font in my word processing software! The pic you just posted ToyPunkJan is one of two versions of the design. One has roman (regular alphabet) for the "Contraste Organico" but a different version has the Usugrow font. I'm off to work but I'll try to post links to both versions after I get back tonight.

Got mine today & Super happy with it too.
Apparently the White one with the Silver Tampo was only available at SB in their Token Machine (not sure what that is) and its called the 'Golden Week' edition.
Either way, it looks great! -

This is different than the one they just released through their token machine. The token machine RI was the GiD one with silver print. The deal was they have what is basically a gatchapon machine and you'd turn the crank and out would pop a token. The token would determine which toy you got.

Hey Yardarm, sorry I meant this was the first token machine release (a fair few years ago now) the one your on about was released on Christmas Day 2012 and was a Double Poured G.I.D.. The Silver print was the standard mail order release and the Gold print was the Store only release. I managed to get the Silver print but I'm guessing the Gold print is gonna cost me ;)

yeah there's one with silver on white aswelll. But the one i'm referring to has the tattoo inverted in black...
It's almost like they used the wrong Template (from the black version for instance) to apply the paint. I will make a picture off it tomorrow. -

My guess is that perhaps the ones released in this past New Year's Lucky Bags are the ones that have the reversed print. I have no proof at all but I know the original colour variants were re-released for the lucky bags. Perhaps they weren't rediscovered dead-stock from some box in the back corner of the storeroom.

This is very different from what I had expected. Toy is bigger than I imagined and the weight of it is....well, light! Thought it would have a massive weight, but no. It doesn't really matters with the weight issue at all, this toy IS a killer. You can twist his head, arms, hands, and shoes around, and that's a BIG PLUS! Always loved toys that are articulated, so you can change the expression on the figure. It's one of my favorite things, posing a toy making it look like I feel it should. (Toy nerd over and out!)
